David Schreiber is a playwright living in Mountain View, California. His short play, Transcontinental, was a 2009 Heideman Award finalist. His full–length play, A Plague of Miracles, was a finalist for the 2010 Global Age Project at Aurora Theatre in Berkeley, California.
Several of his one-act plays have been produced as part of the Foothill College New Works Festivals, including The Ruminant Revelations (2009), The Order (2007), Community Property (2006), Apocalypse Habit (2005) and Full of Grace (2005). In addition, three of his full-length plays have received staged readings: Enlightenment, at Foothill College in June, 2010; The Offsite, at City Lights Theatre Company in San Jose in August, 2007; and Swimming the River, at Foothill College in June, 2006. His short play, The Basement, received a reading at City Lights in April, 2008.
